FitHorse records workouts: running, cycling, walking, trail running and skiing. Below we describe what data the app receives, why it is needed, who can see it and how to delete it. “We” means the developer of the FitHorse app.
The app uses your location only while a workout is being recorded. Recording continues when the screen is locked or another app is open; otherwise the route and distance would be cut off. Your location is not tracked outside of workouts.
With your permission, FitHorse reads heart rate from the Health app on iPhone or from Health Connect on Android during a workout and saves finished workouts there: sport, time, distance and calories. The app does not read any other health data. Heart rate from a Bluetooth sensor (a chest strap or watch) is read by the app directly. Heart rate reaches the server only as part of a workout: average, maximum and per split. Data from Health and Health Connect is not used for advertising, is not sold and is not shared with third parties. You can revoke these permissions at any time in Health or Health Connect settings.
Only to make the app work: to store and sync workouts, show your profile and workout links, friends and races, and calculate calories. FitHorse has no ads, no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. We do not sell data and do not track you across other apps and websites.
https://fithorse.ru/u/name is visible to everyone. It shows your name, photo, city, totals and the workouts with routes that you have synced.Data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete it in the app: “Profile” → profile card at the top → “Delete account”. Your account, workouts, profile photo, friends, invites and race registrations are deleted from the server immediately. Data disappears from database backups within 30 days. Workouts recorded on your phone stay there until you delete the app.
All connections to the server use HTTPS. Passwords and sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes.
FitHorse is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
You can edit your profile in the app at any time and delete your account. For questions about your data, to request a copy of your data or a correction, contact us:
